Here’s the latest installment from Winston Warrior’s Video Journal where we get to listen in as Winston lays down the initial vocals to “Tuck U In” with producers Don Vito and Sean McMillion. After co-writing the lyrics with the team, it’s time for Winston to get the melody together. From here he’ll listen to the scratch vocals repeatedly to identify his weak spots and work with voice coach, Ann Marie McPhail to solidify the right sound, dynamics, phrasing, and harmony. Here’s the first installment of my video journal. It’s a brief intro on what you should expect from the forthcoming episodes. This recording and planning process has been one helluva ride! There are so many key people involved and different pieces of the puzzle that I am at the center of, so I want to share as much of it with you as I can through this video journal.
