You might remember Winston Warrior from back in September when we introduced his cut, “Bad 4 U.” That’s when we dropped all kinds of names at the feet of this phenomenal young talent, comparing him to one word legends like Teddy, Donny and Luther.

The latter’s influence is particularly strong here in Warrior’s melismatic vocal style while the 90s biggest hitmaker, Babyface, comes through in the harmonies.

We don’t want to call Winston “old skool” because there’s a freshness in his flow that is very contemporary. But, if being classified with the legends means being called “old skool,” we’re guessing Winston won’t mind that kind of tag.
